Definitions:

a) Resolution- The act determining upon an action or course of action, method,procedure, etc.; the act of resolving.

b) Format- The organisation, plan, style, or type of something: the format often show allowed for tropical and controversial gags.

c) Aspect ratio- An image projection attribute that describes the proportional relationship between the width and the height of an image.

C. Uploading video to YOUTUBE

First go to Youtube.                                                                                                                        

Then click 'Upload' at the top right.                                                                                                          

Then you'll see this, there are 3 settings you can choose, Public (Everyone can see it), Unlisted (no one can find it) and Private (Only you  can see it). Click one.                                                                              

Then you need to click the box with the arrow in it.

Then this will appear, but before choosing your video you have to find the right file types.

If you did that you'll see this page, wait until it has completely finished the loading.

Once the loading has finished, then you can put in all the information, e.g. Name of the video,

description, etc. Once all that info is put in then you press done.

Once done you have uploaded the video you can now watch the video, if you like you can annotate.

                                                                                                                             

To annotate click the text button.

And you'll see this.

Then you need to click 'add annotation' at the top right.

Once you click the down arrow there will be a down tab, click which one you want

to be on your video.

After you have chosen one, then write your speech in the text box.

Once you have writen what you want to say, and what you want the text to be like, you need to put the annotation somewhere on the video. 

         And finally when everything is perfectly annotated, press publish to finish off.

And now you are finished!!!

1. First choose the video you want to clip. Then drag it to MPEG STREAMCLIP.

2. Once you do that, something like this will appear. And click 'file'.                                                                      

3. If you can't find the file you want in this list, then click 'export to other formats…' to find more file types.                            

4. After that you'll see this. Then click 'format'.                                                                                        

5. The list will show up, so now choose your file.                                                                                  

6. Then finish off by clicking 'ok'

 

It is very important choosing your formats because you want your video to have a good contracts, sound, size, etc. Different format means the video will show differently too.

A. Exporting your film.

                              Exporting
Before exporting, check that all video to be exported is rendered. No red, all green.

Make sure there isn't any extra bits you don't want on the time line. also make sure that everything works properly: find files, sound, etc.

Once you have checked everything, then click 'file'.



You'll see a list coming down. Then click 'export'.






















Then click 'media…'






















After that you'll see this..


















Then click 'Format: Quick time' and choose one of the files from the list.



For example I chose the file 'FLV'



After clicking you file, the click 'sequence 01_2.(your file)' and a little box will appear, on there type the video name and where to save. Then click 'save'. And finally click 'export'.




So this is how you export video/film.
